So, the Pi 3 seemed unsuitable for the role, the 950Q was also getting hot to the touch after extended use, had too few tuners anyway, and isn't officially supported by Plex, and while TVHeadend's web interface is decent for use on a desktop, it's AWFUL on mobile, and I don't really like the various Android client apps I've tried. don't re-encode, just save the MPEG Transport Streams to.
